I have been smiling at the local winery posts on social media announcing the finish of fruit coming in; this morning we picked the last of the fruit from the Stan Clark Vineyard. Friday morning we will destem the Stan Clarke Petit Verdot grapes and Grenache, but I can’t recall which vineyard that is coming from. I believe that will complete WWCC’s College Cellars 2013 crush. Of course, we still have to ferment and press what is left, but no more new fruit. Monitoring temperature and Brix for each of the student group wines will be on going for now.
