Vineyards and birds

The last few days in the Stan Clarke Vineyard I knew I was disturbing a Robin on her nest as she was constantly chirping at me and wouldn’t leave the tree closest to where I was working.  At last, thinning canes revealed this:

Robin's nest in the Merlot.

And we wonder why the young Robins have a taste for grapes?

Two final exams and one more project to turn in and I will have completed my Viticulture Certification!

Cheers
